BitSized is an independent, ad-supported toolkit for gamers, streamers, and Discord community admins. The site exists for one reason: the everyday tasks of Discord and Twitch life — fitting a clip under an upload limit, checking what Bits are actually worth — shouldn't require installing software, creating accounts, or handing your files to a stranger's server.
Everything we build follows the same rules. Tools run entirely in your browser using WebAssembly, so your videos and data never leave your device. Pages load fast because nothing blocks first paint — our compression engine, for example, downloads only after you add a file. Content cites primary sources with dates, because upload limits and Bit prices change and you deserve to know exactly which claim was true when. And the whole thing is free, supported by display advertising rather than paywalls, accounts, or watermarks.
The two flagship tools are the Discord Video Compressor, which computes the exact bitrate needed to hit any target file size and compresses locally with H.264, and the Twitch Bits to USD Calculator, which converts both directions with the fixed creator payout and realistic buyer costs. Around them sits a library of guides — Discord file size limits, sending long videos, Bits economics — and a statistics hub that cites every number we publish.
BitSized is not affiliated with Discord Inc. or Twitch Interactive, Inc. Discord and Twitch are trademarks of their respective owners; we build independent utilities that work with their platforms, and we re-verify platform facts against official documentation quarterly. If you spot an error — a changed limit, a moved price, a broken page — the contact page below is the fastest way to reach us, and we genuinely do read every message.
